Have you set any new year’s resolutions? Personally I don’t really set myself new year’s resolutions. Why? Because when we don’t stick to them it’s another reason to beat ourselves up for failing.
Who doesn’t overindulge at Christmas? It’s the one time of the year we allow ourselves extra treats. So dieting and joining a gym in the new year is on the resolutions list for most of us. But what if you don’t meet your target weight, or can’t seem to stick to that diet?
Instead of a new year’s resolution, try reframing it and setting a new intention. How about trying a new recipe once a week? Taking yourself for a massage once a month? If you’re single take yourself for a date once a month. Set a new year’s intention to be gentle with yourself and be kinder to yourself.
